lets see..normally how long does it takes for a person to visit a private doctor?? ard an hour i suppose.. =) but after visitin govt doc and polyclinics..i feel tat itz better to visit a private if you have the money..but if itz for chao geng..tat will be another story..
nw..visitin a polyclinic can be divided into 3 parts..and each part takes ard a minimum of 1/2 hr..
Phase 1first..u proceed to the registration counter to get urself a queue no for registration..followin on u wait an hour or more for the registration..during this period u can either choose to take a nap or proceed to the nearest coffeeshop to have ur breakfast..trust me..u might even have to wait awhile more when u come back from breakfast..Phase 2after u registered yourself..u will be asked to wait outside a certain room no with a new no slip..at this point of time..u can view the channel news asia they provide there or take a small nap again..cause u will have to wait for 1/2 hr to an hour or more for your turn..Phase 3after waitin for an hour for ur no to show on the board..u proceed in to see the doc..u took less than 5 mins tellin the doc ur prob..following on the doc took less than 5 mins to check ur prob and gives u a prescription askin u to proceed to the drugs administrator to collect ur med and pay ur bill..upon droppin ur med prescription to the drug adminstrator.. u wait ard 1/2hr plus for them to get ur med and pay ur bill..there you have...almost 3 hrs to see a doc..whereby u onli need to spend 1 hr to see a private doc outside..itz best tat u bring some form of entertainment when u "Visit" a govt doc..they seriously need to speed up the process..
